3) to the person who commented on Osborne not being a liar. Tom Osborne was not a head coach during the internet/message board era and would probably act similar to the way Pelini is now had the internet been around then.

I strongly disagree with this statement. I do ot believe a man of Osbbornes character would justify the means for the gain.
And I don't understand what the internet has to do with it?
You have a head coach from another team make an unsolicited statement that one of his assistants is going to Nebraska....
You a job posting by the University.....
You have an assistant retiring in the midst of denials of any changes.....

I understand not being comfortable. I have no problem with him canceling conferences. I even understand and applaud it concerning the signing day conference. I probably wouldn't of given the teleconference even.

Releasing a statement stating "My coaches did a great job recruiting and I look forward to working with the new recruits in the coming years and that is all I have to say about that." would of been great in my opinion.

But he didn't.
Being uncomfortable does not justify lying.

Not even really sure what post you are referring to unless it is the one where you asked why "I" thought I had the right to know or something like that.

That I responded personally as if it was in response to my post personally was because it seemed to be in response to my post personally becaue it was my post personally quoted with portions of it bolded in your quote of my post personnaly. Point 3. ) Bo would make contacts with High end recruiters whom have contact with top notch candidates and or take personal call or make personal calls to those who he feels would fit the mold he is looking for.. OK!

Point 4. ) The (Athletic Department Personal Director) would be aware of said opening and even knowing that Bo is doing his own research with candidates they (HR) would know the laws that can not preclude any other applicants that may want to be considered. Thus, they would be the ones placing the said ad on the job board. OK!

Point 5. ) Since Bo, the CEO of this company is trying to get the best coach available, he is busy in his own aspects and would not be pissing around with what HR has posted on the job board. OK? Is this starting to get a little fucking clearer…? He is not fucking lying about the job posting issues..

If he said that I am not aware of a job opening or search, then he would be lying, but since this information is a confidential search and this data may or may not be true... kind of fucking hard for him to say anything.

He is trying to do the job he was paid to do and this is not a 10 person organization where he will know what the HR department does or is required to do...

Now this is possible if Watson is going to can Gilmore but do you really think that at some point in some meeting Watson wouldn't of come to Bo and said "Hey I think Gilmore needs to go" or "I saw so and so and I know there are no positions open but I think we really need to get this guy on our staff".

The only other possibility is that Osborne decided to can Watson and he has decided that Pelini is to incompetent to even bother discussing it with, and I highly doubt that.

The bottom line is that either Pelini doesn't have a clue what is going on with his staff or he is lying. You pick and use whatever size font and as much bold as you want. It doesn't change.[/QUOTE]
