I believe the following is true... and if not.... Then I will apologize in advance to any and all if I have offended... as it was not my intent..

Here is what I believe. (Without confirming or denying any rumors)

The law requires a job posting to allow outside applicants to be able to be considered. (This is a function of those in HR to make sure that under EEOC laws, the employer has covered their ass.)

Bo, (Not knowing EEOC regs) would be caught off guard about any postings.

If, there is a search going on from Bo's perspective, (this would be done in a confidential nature or so he was hoping... to protect those who may not be here or may not be here soon, as well as potential candidates whom he is interviewing, so they would not lose their positions at whatever "U" they are presently employed at.
