Hmmm...

Interesting... I wonder if you now believe Bo saying he had no idea about the job posting.... I think I heard this somewhere, but some were intent to make Bo out a lier....

Here is a previous post I made.. and it was suggested that anyone who believed this was dumb...

"Here is what I believe. (Without confirming or denying any rumors)

The law requires a job posting to allow outside applicants to be able to be considered. (This is a function of those in HR to make sure that under EEOC laws, the employer has covered their ass.)

Bo, (Not knowing EEOC regs) would be caught off guard about any postings.

If, there is a search going on from Bo's perspective, (this would be done in a confidential nature or so he was hoping... to protect those who may not be here or may not be here soon, as well as potential candidates whom he is interviewing, so they would not lose their positions at whatever "U" they are presently employed at.

Did I make sense here or?

Help me out here guys... This is not that hard... Well; I guess it is for me..."

Policy may delay announcement

LINCOLN — Coach Bo Pelini may have to wait until Feb. 17 to announce new members of the offensive staff, according to University of Nebraska-Lincoln hiring policy.

A job post for “Assistant Coach-Football,” with duties including offensive game preparation and on-field strategies, was added to an official Nebraska website Friday — which is apparently standard procedure in the university’s hiring process.

Each of the school’s departments are required to post job listings online for managerial and professional openings for a minimum of 10 working days before positions can be filled, according to a UNL human resources document.

Exceptions can be authorized, but the document states the open process ensures that Nebraska’s “recruitment procedures are being applied uniformly” and that it is in “compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.”

Professionally or not it's never good to burn your bridges, he's just preserving his network while protecting the privacy of his employees, which is admirable to say the least and more less a no brainer
