What does it say to KC???? Seriously?, this is grown man stuff, so it says "you're not on your game today, we'll try again next week." (That's the PG version).

no team does that sty this isnt baseball and the dynamic is different

Here are excerpt from a linked article that shows exactly what I've been talking about. Kirk may figure out the INT problem but I doubt it seeing as he is playing in an easy system designed to eliminate mistakes. But he will never improve his #1 problem, he can't hit an open guy downfield.

I have notice this (accuracy) problems early in the season but it became obvious in the Atlanta game. KC had Garcon open on several passes but was unable to deliver and these were mostly on 3rd down. In the Jets game during the first quarter KC on 3rd and two, again messed an OPEN Garcon on the left side. In the second quarter KC misses an OPEN Crowder on a 3rd down pass. Just horrible stuff. There is a reason why bad teams are bad especially when you have open WR. To me KC really had a chance to deliver the knockout punch in the Atlanta game. However his inaccuracy kept the Falcons in the game. I like KC, some few years ago many wanted to trade KC and was against that but missing these open WR's on 3rd down is really alarming. Right now KC is showing me he is a backup at best. He needs to improve his accuracy or lets bring RG3 back and stop trying to make him a pocket passer.

It's ironic that Griffins contract is actually screwing him from playing. Part of me wonders if he wouldn't be smart to go to the team and offer to renegotiate to a more friendly contract that would get him on the field.

NO worries, after we lose to the Bucs, Bob will be the starter for the remainder of the season or until he gets put on IR which ever comes first.

Yep - this is a very unique set of circumstances that unfortunately we have to endure as Redskins fans. I pray that Cousins somehow rebounds & we don't have to worry about this, but my objective side tells me that this is not likely. If that does not work out under normal circumstances RG3 would certainly get a shot if the team & Cousins is beyond hope say after week 11. However - the combo of RG3's contract & the perception that Gruden views him as an extreme last resort makes that appear unlikely & perhaps undesirable.

Fans need to stop playing favorites and look at this as what is best for the time both now and moving forward. At the current time there does not seem to be an easy answer to that question. Very frustrating & I am good w/ the team rebuilding rt now, but we can't just continue to endure QB play that handcuffs this team (regardless of the name on the back of the jersey).

Chill out buddy. Not sure what you do for fun but perhaps time to find some other hobbies for Sundays. I hope that the weather doesn't get too cold soon since I might start using this time to golf. I don't want to waste my time watching QBs who either are lost in the pocket & can't find receivers or are the type who continually throw to the wrong team & are off target on a regular basis.

I know that people keep saying that nothing is to be gained by going to McCoy but honestly - why not perhaps in several weeks? At least it would perhaps make the games tolerable. I don't want to be watching Redskins games in 2017 waiting for Cousins to kick the turnover habit.

Socal... I think a big part of Cousins turn over issues at this point are on the coach. Every one knew coming in, Kirk is NOT a guy to take the team on his shoulders and win the game. Continuing to put him in that position is asking him to start forcing throws and making mistakes.

McCoy is a hamster wheel move to avoid the whole Griffin debate. Over the past three weeks we have thrown it moe than running it by a 2/1 margin or better. To me its not a QB issue but a coaching failure. So at this point I would rather see them insert BOB so people can stop stating that its the QB thats the problem. At least with BOB we would start blaming the O-line for the team failure again.

OK - if that is the case then would you consider dumping Gruden? If not then have we become so used to failure that we just advocate retaining people who appear to be failures simply for the sake of continuity? I am really starting to become confused with the attraction for Cousins. Speaking out against him in no way is a vote of confidence for RG3. I stated at the beginning of the year that I don't think that the future Redskins QB is on the current roster, and thus far I feel no different (would be thrilled to be wrong at the end of the season).

Cousins has had way more than enough time to redeem himself yet cannot appear to break old habits. I don't care who the coach is you just don't make that throw against Revis like he did on Sunday. 4 years is enough time to learn that. If they want to use Cousins for the rest of the season - great. However - if he continues to show the same results over the rest of the season then they must dump either Gruden or Cousins (or both). Please tell me a reason why they would retain both.

At this point barring a miracle, they are not going to retain either. But I also said when the switch was made to Cousins, if it fails I honestly expect our starting QB for 2016 to be Griffin. With a new coach.

As far as the difference between the two QBs, at this point I think Cousins is being failed by his coach... Griffin failed the team and I dont expect that to change even if he is reinserted.

I agree. I've been a vocal supporter of giving Cousins time and I'm still not ready to give up on him. But he is making it very difficult. He has made some strides in some areas, but turnovers is not one of them. I'm becoming convinced that the best he can ever be is a sexy rexy type QB. Can make all of the throws and can occasionally burn defenses with solid play. But he will also just make boneheaded plays that ultimately kill you. I feel like we should give him more time, but that's primarily because we have nothing else to turn too. I see no real way that Robert plays this year unless both KC and colt are injured. If he plays and gets injured, it will kill not only this year, but next year also. SM won't let that happen.
