My suggestions are:

Don't resign Cruz. I love him, but you hope to get a comp pick, or sign him and then TRADE him.
Seager.....just dump his contract. Get anything. ANYTHING for this Over Valued player. TRADE HIM.
Cano, we are stuck, but he is still playing well, so steady, but if a team wants him, TRADE him.
Haniger, I love this guy, and IF other teams LOVE him too, then trade his ass.
Diaz. Great Season. Many (3 +/-) years of control, TRADE him since THE MARINERS have the leverage.
Gordon, TRADE him too.
Segura, Trade for Walker, just kidding. Great Value here. Trade Segura for MAX Value.
Zunino, Man crush on this guy, BUT c'mon...….I do wish Zunino the best, BUT, he sucks as a batter/hitter.
Paxton. Ooh so much injury prone. Is there EVER a season you don't get injured????

Cruz won't bring back a comp pick if he signs elsewhere. The CBA states that player can only be qualified once and Cruz got his with Baltimore.

Amen to that. I'd love to see Seager hit the road. Read an article today where Seager states his problems at the plate were due to the fractured toe he received early on in this season. The fact he's making excuses is all the more reason to cut him loose. Would love to have another "Beltre" type player in his place.

Fractured Toe for Seagar, Fractured Toe for Dee Gordon, Ankle for Zunino, The usual issues for Paxton, blah blah blah.
If there is one thing this franchise excels in besides mediocrity and bobbleheads, its excuse making.

Dipoto will continue to bullshit everyone talking about how close the M's are and needing to "control the zone," but won't improve the starting staff, will grab a few mid tier at best relievers and sub .300 OBP position players, Servais will continue to be a shit manager who's in over his head, and the M's will finish yet another playoff-less season with 75-85 wins and the worst farm in MLB again with no future in the minors.

Unfortunately, this thread was correct. Had they decided to blow it up before the 2018 deadline they’d have a top 5 farm system and 2020 would have a WS goal not a 2020 goal of contending for the wild card.

How was this a blow up in any way? Jerry retooled the franchise. A blow up is where you tear a franchise down to the studs and will suck a few years and get high picks. Maybe the issue with the franchise is they aren’t run by a Coug, and why they would’ve been better had Paul Allen bought the team instead of Nintendo.
