Don't know how much you've looked into those stats that you're quoting. But SEA and DEN are averaging the same amount of ypc at 3.9 with Denver actually having 2 more rushes against them this year. So the whole notion that teams run less against them is nonsense

So you don't think strength of schedule has anything to do with that ? Seattle has faced allot of good running teams… 49rs 3 times.. Saints 2 times… Both teams are decent vs the run defensively bottom line… Lynch has gotten hot though and has a league leading 249 rushing Yards this post season… And 109 of that was vs the 49rs one of the best run D's in the league…

You don't have to sack Manning to get him off his game. Make him move and it has an impact. If he gets to drop back and stand on his mark for 4-5 seconds he will find people that are open. Remember that open to him is a much different thing than open to most QB's. He can still complete passes with guys draped all over the receiver. So the key is to push the pocket and make him move. If they can do that with 4 they will have some success at slowing down their offense. That won't be easy given how strong their O line is in pass protection, but I'd be shocked if Manning doesn't get sacked and hurried here and there.

The key to the game though may not be the pass rush, but how they deal with the pick routes. I'm sure Carroll has been working all week on their plan on taking those short crossing routes away from him without having to sacrifice the run stopping. You can't commit so much to one that the other is left open or they will just go there until you adjust again.
