will gruden survive ?and since black monday falls on new years day will it be Black Tuesday???
I'd be shocked (And pissed) if gruden is fired.
Winning record over the last 3 years despite inheriting a complete dumpster fire. What more should he have accomplished?
I shudder to think how a hunt for a possible QB and a HC would go.
Learning how to run a competent 2 minute drill w/o it looking like a Keystone Kops bit sometime in the last 4 years would've been nice.
Not that I'm advocating he be fired. I shudder to think how a hunt for a possible QB and a HC would go.

So your saying the 2 minute drill struggles are Gruden's fault? They do that preparation for the 2 minute drill during PRACTICE. PRACTICE! It's on the QB to execute, and run the 2 minute offense during a game.
Oh Look maa, something else we can blame the QB for. Why... if he didnt drive that gas guzzler of a Van, we probably wouldnt have global warming concerns. And because he is such a devout Christian, Im sure trying to get Kirk was the real reason Osama planned 911.
Come on guys, be more creative.. Im sure we can find a way to blame the QB for Trump winning the election right??
There are things Gruden could improve on. Running the hurry up offense is not one of them, that's on the QB. You really think the 2 minute struggle is fault of the OC/HC?
I think its a lack of preparation, which is on the coach. I think its poor defensive play in those situations, which is not on the QB. Is the QB held harmless in these situations?? Not at all. But to say, the teams struggles in the 2 minute situation are all on the QB, or even mostly on the QB just shows a bias against....
The QB.
Lack of preparation? I'm not so sure of that. KC's training/practice/coaching before 2017 on that drill was by Sean McVay during the 2015 and 16' season...so I will respectfully disagree on lack of preparation. Running a good hurry up offense in football is all on the QB's ability to make quick decisions, be sure the other 10 on the field no what the hell is going on, and what to do next. Look, Jack Nicklaus was the best golfer of all time (IMO), but he sucked out of the bunker. Is it possible that KC is just not that good at running a 2-minute offense?...Yes, yes it is.
Not sure what you meant by "poor defensive play in those situations, which is not on the QB" means.
It's all good shark. HTTR, and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Back to the thread topic......Well since there are reports that Gruden will remain along with his coaches, maybe Dan will give us all a New year gift by booting Allen.![]()
Wow Browns said hue jackson will be back and the colts coach just got canned
funny i pulled a groinI think I pulled a muscle laughing so hard at that one.
