Well the Bills dont have a good defense. The Panthers offense is just kinda bad. They have along way to go. Also they have spent the last 12 years drafting busts so it will take more then a few good plays by some rookies to make me think they are turning a corner.

The difference is that it was a different game so the comparisions are not so easy to make but.........

Bills played them at home, the Seahawks played them on the road.

The Seahawks traveled 3000 miles and 3 time zones for a 10am (PST) start which is always problematic for west coast teams.

Week 1. Start of the season. Often times teams are showing "rust" at this point.

Yes, the Seahawks did have a close game with the Panthers but the D did dominate for the most part. Held Newton to his worst passing game as a pro.

Also, I think that the Bills are a better team than last year and might win a few more games than most people think.
