I would say there is seriously potential with this kid ... Only 24 years old .. Personally I would hate to see us lose him, but that's the reality of the situation right now... He's raw but he's pure potential ...

I never even thought about it but Jackson signing in Seattle means either Michael gets cut or Turbin gets traded.

The thing about Michael is that the chances of him ever living up to his "potential" are so slim IMO. How can a player play two full years in the NFL and still be "raw" and unable to be trusted on the field that the team goes out and signs a 34 year to replace him?

PT .. He simply hasn't been on the field enough ... He's worth the risk at 24... The one knock has been hanging onto the football, which obviously is a big deal .. BUT that's something he can improve upon, the talent is clearly there...

Once McFadden gets hurt he will get a job.

I agree that McFadden usually turns into McFading by years end.

Still, I thought he looked pretty decent last time out. Getting downfield before contact can really help. And that line allows it.

But even first contact or that bounce off the ground can end a season for McFadden.

Ok help me understand why a team gets rid of a guy with so much raw talent? If he has so much raw talent why has he not performed? Do people in Seattle not know how to get the talent out of him but once he is let go many teams would want his raw talent because they know how to get it out of him?

Are you new to the game? The "we can fix 'em" mentaility has always been around with teams when it comes to talented underacheivers. :L

I think if Seattle cuts someone it'll be Turbin.

I agree. Although I hear he may be injured and could go on IR.

Turbin has one year left on his contract and isn't likely to stay with the Hawks. He'll look for a bigger role somewhere else.

ARE YOU NEW TO THE GAME ? What's your point ? Also I wouldn't consider Michael and under-achiever... he's behind one of the best backs in football ....

I consider Michael an underachiever. It's not like the Hawks couldn't use a guy like him, even with Lynch. He is a lot more talented than Turbin, yet loses touches to him. A lot of games he's not even active.

My thoughts are as great as the Seahawks are with their coaches and such that if they couldnt get this draft pick to work just how could anyone else do it?

If the hawks are truly signing him it's probably a sign that Turbin's high ankle sprain is serious. CM isn't up to every game rushing and Lynch can't be in every down.

Likely Turbin goes to IR and they still keep CM.

So you're just passively aggressively trolling. What else is new?

I don't think he'd work out better for anyone else. But I bet someone will try.

Well other Seahawk fans suggested he would be a 1000 yard rusher elsewhere.

So if this is the case it raises all kinds of red flags

I could see some teams seeing his potential for that. But how valuable is 1000 yards if you have double digit fumbles?

With Jackson's ability to block and catch the ball I'd be happy with him as our #2 this year.

Also, Christine Michael has shown the football intelligence of a box of old avocados so far. Raw potential has been about his only compliment since draft day. I think he's about done here and if he can't learn a playbook, how to block, and how to hold onto the ball, he's not gonna last long with anyone.

You ever heard of a guy named Ahman Green?
