Early betting line vs the dirty birds... Atlanta favored by 1.5 (Fuq I counted this one as a win for our guys)

IF Atlanta put up 30 plus against us next week, then the alarm bells will be ringing. Should be a winnable game.

We've got teams coming up on our schedule with higher power ratings than the Bills.

We still might beat the dirty birds but what bothers me is if any NFL team is an underdog to this edition of the Atlanta Falcons that NFL team does not have much to bring to the party.

I agree and I've made this one.. one of the games that Washington "should" win. We'll see, but the early oddsmakers have Atlanta as favorites primarily because they are looking at our team differently.

Well the early oddsmakers have them as favorites, what does that say about Washington, at least in the eyes of these professional gamblers, and what they bring to the party?

I suspect that Rivera and Co. will lean on that old tired "we lost our starting QB, Samuel, et.al" to rationalize what's happening to this team, but we're all seeing this and I don't think that.. that dog will hunt.

Is he right? or is this an admission that bad decisions led to the 20 point deficit in the first place. Football isn't a difficult game to understand, in fact it's pretty basic... beat the man in front of you more often than he beats you and your team generally wins. Being in the position in which " you want to make something happen" is one way to define desperation. How about learning, practicing, then putting into your work those things that you're proficient in?
