I disagree. But if you want politicians to give away millions because you like the Bills, it is your belief but does not make it right.
Right. You want to play hardball when your team is always among the rumored teams to move, whether to Toronto or elsewhere. Wrong.

Politicians waste our money every day. Spending it on keeping the Bills in Buffalo while giving the fans a better place to watch the games and outdoor concerts etc is a better option than most.

Better than getting rid of the rats and homeless?

feed the rats to the homeless...win/win
Rats are already living with the homeless. Many cases of them crawling over those juicy smelling people.
Many have attacked people. The list of diseases they are carrying will make you sick!
I know you are joking but most do not care about the homeless. I care about the bubonic plague that is killing New York!

They are pretty good at hiding. Ever been in a wall or in a sewer?
They are moving to the "burbs in last year. Getting worse!

That article is about NYC. They may go to the suburbs, but not 340 miles to Rochester lol. NYC has more than enough constituents to tax to raise money for their homeless and rat issues.

Funny that it's on the East side (the "rich" suburbs). However, complaints overall were actually down (that article is from 2018):

Monroe County has fielded 223 complaints of rats or mice from Rochester residents this year to date, with 138 of them, or about 62 percent, coming in the last three months, according to county data.

But those figures are average, and may represent a small decline. The county fielded 355, 404 and 377 such complaints in 2017, 2016 and 2015, respectively. By way of comparison, the county was reportedly fielding upward of 100 complaints a month in the 1980s.

In the three months between mid-May and mid-August last year, the county fielded 125 complaints, and 136 and 146 complaints in 2016 and 2015, respectively.

“The uptick we’ve seen over the last few months has been fairly significant,” said county spokesman Jesse Sleezer. “But we don’t think this is a community-wide infestation.”
