Ben Simmons is currently 23rd All-Time in career triple doubles. In 125 games.

In his last 6 games he has a stat line of 19/11/10 and 2 steals+blocks/g

I can see why the Pels wouldn't be interested in him since he doesn't shoot 3s though.

To be fair, he needs to put up these numbers against BOS/TOR/MIL/etc or in the playoffs.

Next 12-13 games should tell us something.

The thing is Simmons has been far from bad against those teams.

Against Boston this year - 15 ppg 15 rpg 8 apg
Against Mil - 13 point 13 reb 11 assists

His worst game of the year was against Toronto this in their first match. He also had a so-so match and an excellent game in their home game against the Raptors who were without Kawhi.

So it's not like he's wilted.

But there is no question that these next 13 games will define the Sixers season.Pacers, Thunder, Rockets, Spurs, Nuggets, Lakers,Warriors, Kings, Raptors, Nuggets, Raptors,Lakers, Celtics.

They need to go at least 8-5 in this stretch, IMO,

Tough stretch, totally disagree it will define their season. That will be determined by how they play in Apr and May.

Unlike in the West, the 6ers are guaranteed to make the playoffs. No regular season stretch of games will define the top east teams.

That's true in a sense. But if the Sixers were to get slaughtered in this stretch, I honestly think it could lead to a major trade.

I don't think either of those things will happen, mind you. But it is possible.

Agreed. It could define their season by :
1) Winning and confirming the Butler trade was wise
2) Losing and panic-prompting another trade
3) Playing near .500 ball and everything stays the same

I expect #3 to happen.
Rooting for #1.
#2 would be disastrous, so that's most likely to happen.....
