Especially if Mack Brown indicates he might retire.

Texas/Oklahoma/OSU all finished in a 3 way tie for second place.
Texas - LSU would be the second highest rated game after the BCS NCG.

Sad thing is, all we needed was an average QB tonight and would have won. Just average. With Major's shitty playcalling, an average QB would have got the job done.

and FTR, I give props to Mack and Texas for righting the ship after the early season debacles.

both OU and UT have been hit hard by injuries, this year, but neither team gave up.

I don't know how may starters UT has coming back next year, but OU will have a ton.

Would you rather have seen UCF vs, Texas? At least some people will tune in to watch the Baylor offense. Can't imagine anyone that doesn't wear burnt orange or a UCF fan want to watch that game.

Yep, that's it. I feel like Mack was done either way, but there's no doubt now. We just aren't a good football team. The injuries have hurt, but we have no one to step in other than rb. Neither Ash or McCoy are that good. I guess Ash has the best chance to develop into a decent qb next year, but we don't need to be developing at this point. The defense is a joke no matter who the coordinator is.

I'm impressed with qb from Baylor. They have a good team and deserve to win. Never in a million years would have thought I would be saying that. The cold weather definitely hurt Baylor more than us. We can't throw anyway. If it would have been much worse if it would have been warm.

Hey, Texas doesn't get a free pass for having to use its backup quarterback.
Any other program would suffer as well.
But Texas is somehow expected to have an all-American as the backup??
