Bad cable reception all evening. Gonna stay up all night to watch all of this one again! What a team!!
What a game. A few weeks ago this would have been a 12-7 blow out.

Have to give some credit to the Rangers battery for keeping the damage to a minimum to keep the team in the game. Good teams do that.

Lol Roogie is going to get plunked tomorrow for the standing and watching the HR.

I really don't have a problem with this guy that some do as he is not a showboat. Here is what Seager had to say.
''We were able to string some good at-bats together and get some runs on the board,'' said Kyle Seager, who drove in two runs and scored one. ''That's a good team over there and they've got a lot of fight. It kind of went back and forth. Unfortunately, they got the last blow.''

Rangers pitchers haven't allowed a homer in their last eight games, matching Miami for the longest streak in the majors this season.

Seagers not a bad guy. I just hate that he owns us.

His sinker was ridiculous last night. If he can stick to that pitch he will be fine. That was the best he's looked.

True. He has nights where he looks lights out. Then other nights he can't get out of his own way. He's like the bullpen version of Holland. When he isn't worried about what his postgame interview bit is going to be, he can really pitch. But he needs to quit worrying about the non-baseball crap and pull his head out.

So I had my draft last night so I could see the game but couldn't hear it, then left the place in about the 7th inning. I listened to the odor play that got Belts to 3rd, but what happened? On the highlights I see Odor got thrown out at second, but the radio guys were talking about Odor standing and staring someone? Was he not hustling all the way around, I don't get what the oddity of the play was. They made it sounds like Odor just slowed up rounding 1st and that is why he got thrown out but it looked like just a good strong through from RF.

FYI- the first guy over the rail when Roogie launched that ball onto Greene's Hill and the guy who was right in the middle of the dogpile on Roogie at home plate was none other than Yu Darvish... the same Yu Darvish who "doesn't care about this team or winning".

I love Yu and of course he gives a shit about this team...

but seeing him in a dogpile makes me nervous every. single. time.

Devil's advocate....What if Odor's ball doesn't go out and hits off the wall and he only gets a double due to his "trot?" Next guy, Lucroy, gets an infield single but Odor can't score b/c he's only on 2nd, and we don't score. Then go on to lose 8-7. How y'all feeling about him then?

Battery as in Lucroy and the pitchers. Even though Cole struggled, he and Luc avoided the breakout. That game had 12 to something all written over it.
I completely agree about what Lucroy has done for this staff. But Claudio has been pitching very well for some time now and I think he deserves much of the credit for this one. His last game which was against Cleveland was his first bad game since June 14.
