ha ha I've been known to say a nice thing about OU every once in awhile, as long as it's truthful. Romeo is mad as hell in the predict your rivals record thread, apparently he wanted me to say OU would run the table and win it all.

But he has good reason to be a little testy.

Heard Phil Steele on XM this morning. He picked OU as one of the final four but has one concern. He stated the last four times they have been ranked in the top 5 pre season the best they have finished is 15th. (the other three were 16th, unranked and unranked.)

Give ole' Romes a break.

This time I think it is totally dependent on the defense. I think year 2 in this offense won't be a worry unless Mayfield and/or both RBs go down.

Mayfield going down for any length of time probably kills our playoff hopes. Kendall could possibly handle a game against Iowa state or something, but at the end of the day he's a true freshman.

I always appreciated the originality of mascots like the Longhorns. At least "Sooner" is original, but it's just not as cool as a Longhorn. I don't agree with a lot of this list.
