Better QB year? 04 Peyton, 07 Brady, or 11 Rodgers?

None of 'em won the Super Bowl, so I rank 'em all lower than most. But if I had to rank 'em just for the regular season, I'd put Brady's season on top because the Pats went 16-0. Anything other than that is gravy.

This.

All three weren't good enough, so what does it matter?

Yes. The team was incapable of closing games on the ground and had no choice but to keep passing.

Here are some scores from the 2007 season where Brady was chucking the ball around in 4th quarters and going for it on 4th down.

38-14 vs. Jets
38-14 vs. Chargers
38-7 vs. Bills
34-13 vs. Bengals
34-17 vs. Browns
48-27 vs. Cowboys
49-28 vs. Dolphins
52-7 vs. Redskins
56-10 vs. Bills
34-13 vs Steelers
28-7 vs. Dolphins

Now looking at these blowout games with an average margin of victory nearly 4 TDs, do you think there was any reason for Tom Brady to average nearly 10 pass attempts alone in the 4th quarter? Not only that, but he played every snap, while on the other hand, peyton Manning was sitting entire 4th quarters and sometimes 3rd quarters in blowout games during his record breaking season.

Like I said, in 2007 Tom Brady was the ULTIMATE stat padder.

The patriots putting the ball on the ground would have lost them some of those games. If they let off the gas they were 14-2 to 12-4.

All these times Brady was throwing, did the other team give up? Did they run the ball every play because they knew the game was over? Or did they continue to try to score points on offense? If they continued to try to score, then it is not stat padding. it is playing competitive. Why does the winning team have an obligation to stop trying? If a losing team stops trying to score they are called quitters. Case in point last year Hawks Cards. Fitz's dad said that the Cardinals gave up. Secondly, Brady is not calling the plays. He was not audibling out of running plays. He was executing the plays called by his coach. Should he have intentionally missed passes? Should he have rushed the ball himself and risked injury?

Going for it on 4th n goal inside the 10 yard line up 42-10 in the 4th quarter is stat padding.
