That’s what I read in a review. The ice cream representing the sweet spot Jimmy was in before he got in that car. The ants represent all the bad things about to eat away at the good thing he had going.

'Better Call Saul' Recap: Walking the Same Line

I guess.
I mean, ants aren't bad. They're only doing what they are supposed to be doing.

Maybe it's more about nature taking it's course on Jimmy?
That seems to make the most sense.

Now, I'm not positive on the symbolism of the ice cream cone and the ants.

The ice cream is good and represents happiness and the ants are bad?
The ice cream is Jimmy and the ants are Saul eventually eating away at him?
The ants represent the swarm of evil that is about to come and swallow up this good thing?

In that way, maybe the beer bottles were good Kim/evil Kim.

Probably lots of ways to go on these, which maybe is the intent all along.
People break bad for all kinds of reasons.

Maybe she thinks Jimmy is being careless by leaving the bottle where it could easily fall and hurt someone.
This is Kim in 'help' mode. She wants to help her pro bono clients. She takes pride in that. But, she's always having to listen to somebody else telling her what to do. Which is now the opposite of Jimmy.

The second scene, she abandons help mode and is just pure anger. She doesn't know how to let off steam so this is it.

Pretty much how I took it. She kept staring at that first bottle.

I took it as some foreshadowing of how Jimmy is careless and then at the end she said F it and threw bottles cause she was careless.

I think you’re right. Makes total sense.

I took a stupid college class on movies. One of the big themes proff talked about was foreshadowing. I seem to look for it everywhere.

Now I did not get the opera house thing so I am glad someone on here read up in it.

Yeah, Breaking Bad was awesome with the way they would show an image to open an episode and then you find out later how that got there. The bear in the pool from the plane crash? The pizza on the roof? There's probably loads of them.

Wow. Didn't catch that the homeowner was the warden from Stir Crazy. Which Jonathan Banks also appeared in.

Saul mentions an ex wife in BB.

I've always assumed that is Kim. Running out of time if it isn't. Jimmy/Saul isn't exactly a womanizer.

Kinda assumed he destroys her reputation before she leaves him/goes into hiding first. Which could be with Nacho, or not.

(If you've watched the newest ep)

Any guesses where Mike has ended up?

A Gus Fring safehouse?

I'm guessing Gus has Nacho or someone always keeping an eye on Mike in case he ever decided to flip to the feds.

He’s also the kind of guy who would talk about his made up ex wife to try to sell something (or in this case persuade a client). Don’t think they actually need to set that line up.

Fucking with Howard was uncalled for. The guy’s a douche and all, but he at least owned up to being a pussy with Chuck and didn’t just give some hallow apology. A simple “no thanks,” or even “go fuck yourself” would have worked...

Maybe.

But a lot of this series is based off tiny bits from BB. That seemed kinda meaningless.

I thought the same thing. From BB, Gus Fring seemed to always know where everyone in his inner circle was.

I thought the pull back shot of the place where Mike was looked familiar, like maybe we've seen it before from BB. If the internet sleuths have not figured it out by now, then I'm also guessing that perhaps a majority of the homes look exactly like that...

It's very good.
Very layered.
Full of subtlety, nuance, imagery, symbolism.
