Best Sitcom Character of All Time?

Dan had several that were over the top.

The Bass-O-Matic was classic
The Toy Salesman - Bag-O-Glass

He had some of the best stuff. I loved Belushi's physical comedy too. In my opinion that group was the best.

I grew up watching Married With Children, so Al Bundy is definitely does it for me. That entire cast really worked well together.

It was a bit before my time, but when I watched re-runs of Sanford and Son, Fred Sanford was unique.

Belushi had amazing talent. #1 in albulm sales, #1 movie, #1 TV show all at same time.

I agree - as good as Sanford was as a character, Grady Wilson was great. Some may argue he was the best character on that show at times... I remember that pot episode, I've never laughed so hard in my life.

I'll say it, Al Bundy is an overrated one dimensional character. Funny one liners, you see coming a mile away. While with George you never know what you are going to get. Putting himself in ridiculous situations by following his wrong instincts.
