True...and don't forget with the holiday season approaching, he also launched the Human Fund, worked for the NY Yankees...not to mention as well as claiming to be an architect, a p.orn actor, a latex salesman, and a gang member in the Van Buren Boys.
And a marine biologist!

I was real young when that show played. I was around 13 when it came out and had just starting smoking weed. I'd get stoned and watch Soap and literally laugh out loud at each episode.

When Burt thought he was able to turn invisible....OMG!.....that was some of the best and funniest skits ever shown on TV.

Great character but he is invisible to most.

This show was prolly the only one where whole family got together and laughed our ass off.

:gaah:

I guess that joke was so hard to see........

Went with Al Bundy but some of the others IMO that aren't on the list:

Kenny Powers, Stevie
Charlie Harper, Alan Harper, Berta

Across the pond
Hyacynth Bucket, Onslo
Arnold Rimmer, Lister

BTW, this was really fun!

Canadian show, but Jim Lahey on Trailer Park Boys was so fucking great. I deploy many of his "shitisms" frequently.

Charlie Harper was pretty good, but Alan slowly became the lamest/most unlikeable character on tv.

I could never pick just one. What about Curly from the 3 Stooges?

More of a Carol Burnett sort of show, not a sit com.

I do admit being gobsmacked not seeing Larry Sanders and Hank Kingsley on the list.

So it's Archie all the way.
