Peyton Manning and it's not even close.
There is not even a shred of doubt in my mind that the greatest QB I have ever seen play and who is the greatest QB of all time is Joe Montana.
8× Pro Bowl selection (1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1993)
6× All-Pro selection (1981, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1990)
4× Super Bowl Champion (XVI, XIX, XXIII, XXIV)
3× Super Bowl MVP (XVI, XIX, XXIV)
2× AP NFL MVP (1989, 1990)
Pro Football Hall of Fame (2000 Inductee)
Ranked#4 on NFL.com's Top 100 Players of All Time
Manning might have a few more pro bowls, but he has fewer super bowls and fewer All Pro selections.
I am sorry, but Montana threw 11 touchdowns to 0 interceptions in his four Super Bowls wins....
No one can touch that.
And no im not "jelly" of Manning to Luck considering we went from Favre to Rodgers.
Peyton Manning
He is the ultimate field general and is responsible for more on a field than any QB I've ever seen. He is the only QB in the NFL I would trade Ben for.

Manning>>>Favre
and Luck will surpass Rodgers in a year or two.
Joe Montana, but if we were counting only the regular season it would be Peyton. Peyton overall is so overrated it isn't even funny. He is a playoff choker. Most playoff losses in NFL history. What is it 9 one and dones? Brady is easily the better qb between him and Peyton, and Rodgers should surpass them in a few years.

Ill give you the Manning > Favre part. Both are future HOFers. Rodgers is and always will be superior to Luck.

He is now, but the gap is closing and closing fast. Wouldn't at all be suprised if at the end of the season people will lean more towards Luck just because of how clutch he is in the 4th quarter. Rodgers doesn't seemingly have the clutch gene.
Troy Aikman is better. Today.

Rodgers already has a ring, MVP and SB MVP. Highest single season passer rating of all time. Highest career passer rating of all time. A TD to INT ratio that is second to none. And hes not clutch?
I saw Joe Montana play quarterback. Winning is great, and he knew how to help his team do that. But the eras are different, and you have to compare based on more than winning because of that. Skill set alone... Rodgers makes Joe Montana look like a high school player. So did Elway. So does Manning.
Hand's down Tim Tebow!
