Which of the big 3 "mid-majors" this year is the best?

All 3 are really good. Gun to my head im probably taking SDSU but all 3 of them can make the Final 4

I'd say San Diego State, if any. I'm more convinced that Gonzaga and Dayton are for real. Not that I don't think all 3 are for real. Just more convinced for the Zags and Flyers.

Eye test I take SDSU.

Gonzaga's pretty strong too, but SDSU a bit better.

Dayton hasn't beaten anybody. I think it's a travesty if they end up with a #1 seed.

No question SDSU and Gonzaga have better resumes to this point. I just think Dayton is playing the best right now over the last week, week and a half.

With that said, if all 3 win out SDSU and Gonzaga are going to get 1 seeds.

I agree. About the resumes and simply who is playing better at the moment. I hope 2 of them get #1 seeds. That'd be cool.

I went to the UNI @ Drake game today. They looked good to me.

They are honestly gonna be one of the toughest teams to gauge if they don't win the conference tournament. I said prior to the conference season, they could probably only afford at most 5 losses. The bad thing is that a loss is probably gonna be a Q3 loss or right on the fringe. If they don't win it, and if I had to guess at this point, I'd say no. But there will be another weeks worth of games after their tournament, so they'll need to root for bubble teams to lose.

You could make a case that Dayton is a genuine top 10 team. UNI is a top 40ish team and ETSU isn't even top 50.
