If you are down with this, I'm thinking we do a poll of the best of the best at each position, then eventually a tournament with the basis of finding ou who is the best player ever to don the horns. Let's start at Qb.

This is really tough!!! As much as I love Everett, I'd say he and Bradford are immediately out. Warner did win us our only Super Bowl and led us to another...Van Brocklin, Waterfield and Gabriel are legendary but I never saw them play.

Went with KW. His stats just blow everyone else away. He did play with a HOF offensive unit but he did do the same thing in Arizona too.

Seriously, you put Sammie on the list and left off other deserving options?

As others have said, most of us didn't see Van Brocklin and Waterfield play, and as others have said different ERA's, different style of play, so different values as far as QB play.

I grew up with Gabriel, loved him, liked Evertt, but Warner is the man! Period!

I may be biased as he played for UNI in Cedar Falls, Iowa where I live, but his story is ridiculous if you really think about it!

Still holds numerous Super Bowl records, had a high completion percentage, which is impressive because he didn't dink and dunk , he threw the ball downfield!
