Best most hated Rivalry in hockey?

As far as the Cup Finalist rivals go I would not say the Flyers/hawks have any kind of rivalry now, I mean our ine game this year was fun, but next year not so much. Will never forgive that fanbase for it as I didnt even like them before that series.

Unfortunatley the NHL thinks we hate eachother more and our Winter Classic is rumored to be with them now. Ew.

Yeah I saw the Rags might be backing our for only God knows why. If I remember correctly the Hawks will be around early January and, like I said, the NHL thinks there is a legitimate rivalry between us.

Backing out? That is odd... You know what would be cool? If whatever team comes to the East from the whole Winnipeg ordeal takes the Rags place. Would be a cool way to break that team into the East... Maybe not, I dunno. Every other team that would be considered a Philly rival has played. Or you can play the Devils. But Philly and Chicago? Lame.

The Wings and Sharks haven't been too fond of each other over the last few years. It's not a rivalry but it could get interesting if they keep meeting in the playoffs.

As for the best? I would have to say Boston/Montreal. I loved the Wings/Avs rivalry but that is long dead.

In the 90's nothing got better than Wings/Avs, but thats gone downhill along with the Avs

Leafs/Habs
Hawks/Wings
Flames/Oilers

We havent played the Devils yet. I would love to see that.

For the East thing it would depend. If Nashville is moving I respectfully decline. If the Wings were coming it would at least be a game with history.

no. we play Boston once or twice a year. tough to get a rivalry there.
they will be great games, and maybe a little extra heated, but not a rivalry.
If we meet again next June, then you could begin to talk about it as such.

Thats the biggest shame about the Thrashers moving. All of those classic SE division showdowns are a thing of the past.
