Seen Accept, Ratt and Iron Maiden, had a keg in the back of the van. Another great outdoor concert.

I know I couldn't remember them all either. But I'm old. 4 most recent were Patti Smith, The Pixies, Leonard Cohen and Buddy Guy who opened for George Thorogood and the Destroyers. We left halfway through George Thorogood and the Destroyers. They weren't who we went to see. That covers the last 2 years... oh and we went to the opera at the Met when we were in NYC over the holidays. That was pretty cool. My first time for the opera.

I've seen some pretty cool shows...I saw Metallica and Van Halen which were both pretty amazing since EVH and Kirk Hammett are two of my favorite guitarists.

The most fun I've had at a concert was actually seeing Pepper when they were opening up for 311. They just put on a great show and really engaged the audience and it was a blast. My favorite moment at a concert was when I saw Snoop Dogg and he walked out on the stage and the first thing he said was "Hey ladies, show me them titties." What came next was I saw at minimum 2000 boobs.

I'm in my early 30's so I never got to see any of the iconic bands in their prime.

As far as current rock bands Wilco puts on a great show.

I was never the biggest Pearl Jam fan but they're really the last classic rock band. Without a hit song in a decade they can still sell out stadiums. Their live show is fantastic.

My last concert was The War on Drugs at a 500 seat club. They're best band in the world imo. Their sound didn't transfer that well live when I saw them 5 years ago but now they're perfect.

Interesting comment from my POV. I realized that it's all a matter of opinion, but as someone who grew up listening to the music of the late '70s/early '80s, the "Seattle Sound" of the early '90s is the demarcation line between "classic" rock and today's rock.

Seen REO, Foghat, 38 Special, BOC and the Georgia Satellites back in the early 90's. I went there to see BOC mostly and they were horrible. the Satellites were probably the best band that day from what I can remember.

and the worst concert I ever been to had to be Motley crue two years ago at the hard rock Casino in Vegas.
I was a big Crue fan and was pumped when I got the tix for it.
Being in Vegas and all,I really was thinking it was a concert for the ages................Sheesh,when they started it took app. the 4th song before i even knew what they were singing.
1/2 way thru, the wife left to go oiut and smoke a cig and when she got back i was standing at the bar ready to leave...............Wtf does that at a concert?

just plain downright horrible.
