His band is great. Seen Dylan 3 times myself, including just this last year.

They just wheeled him out there and he mumbled for 90 minutes?

First real show I ever went to was Morrissey in about '94 at The State Theatre in Kzoo. Still my favorite over half a lifetime later.

One time, at the Fillmore, I went with a friend to see an indie band I had never heard of. I love them now..

At the end of the show the whole band came out into the audience and played this acoustic song. The singer asked everyone not to take pictures or record and to just have this be a private moment for everyone in the building to share. And then just stood with the whole crowd around them singing. It was pretty amazing..

deftones/Metallica at the Silverdome was cool.

I also saw Aerosmith and KISS together at Comerica but I spent most of that concert drinking/doing drugs and having sex with my gf (at the time) in different places all around the stadium. Great concert.

Saw Avenged Sevenfold perform at Uproar and I have to say they are probably the best band I've ever seen live. Rise Against also puts up a hell of a show.

Judas Priest put on a great show.

I seen Priest back in the 80's then again a couple years ago, I actually think Rob Halford's voice sounds better now.

I was having such a good time in the parking lot shrooming and partying, I never even went in to see Ozzy one time. I can't remember which tour, but it was '85 or '86..

I haven't seen them in years, I wanted to see them about 4 years ago, but didn't.
I went to Defenders, Turbo and Ram It Down Tours. They were all really good, they sound great live.

In April, 1969 I stayed a couple of days with UCLA RB Greg Jones at his place in Malibu (actually, my female travelling companion stayed with Jones, I slept on the couch)...Jones worked lights at the LA Forum, got us tix for Jimi Hendrix on 26APR69...after the concert, he escorted us backstage to meet Jimi...when we walked up to him, Jones said "hey Jimi, want you to meet a couple of friends who drove out here from Michigan for some California sun"...Hendrix said "Coo" and handed me the strawberry paper joint he'd been puffing...coolest thing ever happened to me.

Was one of the 200,000+ addled monkeys at the Goose Lake International Rock Festival (1970) in Michigan...saw Rod Stewart, Jethro Tull, Chicago, Ten Years After, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Mountain, John Sebastian, the James Gang, Bob Seger, the MC5, The Stooges, Mitch Ryder and a few others.

I put down Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd but inadvertly neglected to add Judas Priest. I was a long time ago but I remember that they were awesome.

Judas Priest, Pink Floyd and Paul McCartney in no order. I've seen a ton of concerts in my day. I have to really stop and think to remember some of them.

another Jimmy...

slithered in to a dark dumpy little Nashville Blues/Whiskey bar late one night in 1995...after the local performer finished up, the owner announced that a special surprise guest wanted to plink a few for us...was Jimmy Vaughn (Stevie Ray's older bro)...boy plays a sharp axe.

also got roaring drunk buying free drinks with Bo Diddley on a 1st Class flight (I upgraded) from DFW>ATL in 1996...but he didn't sing anything.

I saved the tickets too, I have no idea what happened to them, I think when I moved out of my parents house at 18 I left them behind, not sure. Yeah definitely getting old. A Flock of Seagulls was awesome, the Fixx opened.
