That would actually be Eddie George and his pathetic 3.6 yards per carry. How this guy is considered a great back I'll never understand.
What do those guys have to do with Eddie George averaging 3.6 yards per carry?Olandis Gary, Mike Anderson, Clinton Portis, Rueben Droughns, Tatum Bell, Mike Bell, Selvin Young and Travis Henry disagree

And who might that be?They think that there is another running back who is more overrated than George.
In terms of different time period?Marshall Faulk shouldn't even be in the poll.
wow...just wowIn terms of different time period?
True or False: The Cowboys had one of the 3 best offensive lines in the history of football when Emmitt Smith was playing.

I'm good with your disagreementI disagree
Are you surprised I defended Faulk or surprised that I think that the Cowboys had arguably the best oline of all time?wow...just wow

Barry Sanders behind the Dallas oline might have been bigger than Michael Jordan

My follow up question would be: has there been any great RB in your mind since Smith? I feel like RB is a position that is filled with nostalgia at this point since they have become so devalued.Ask Emmitt today and he'll tell you Walter and Barry were better. It's more than a stretch to say Faulk was.
I voted for Faulk, but if you look at his stats his best seasons actually came in the early 2000s, so he is debatable.
YES SIR...and I reserve the term "great" more often than notMy follow up question would be: has there been any great RB in your mind since Smith? I feel like RB is a position that is filled with nostalgia at this point since they have become so devalued.
I don't really have too much of an issue with people not seeing the value in Faulk or to a lesser extent someone like Thurman Thomas. But to say Faulk shouldn't even be on the list like the other texas guy said is just foolish homer pride.
