Bengals aren't that solid, they lose some crap they shouldn't, they'll be lucky to get a wild card and go one and out again.

Agreed.

When I originally said a silver lining of the Bengals loss to the Steelers was that the Bengals didn't get out-classed by them as they usually do, it was on the assumption that the Steelers are decent. Now, going back and thinking about it, it seems more than likely the reason the Bengals were in that game all along isn't because they were growing/getting better. It's because the Steelers have had a massive drop-off.
