We can't cover a TE. If Zimmer is putting a CB on a TE you have to drop someone in front of him to stop that. No CB can stop a TE in that route b

The TE was crossing the middle of the field. You could see Nelson hesitate when he saw the TE before he began running with Massoquoi. Nelson's read was to cover the back side of Clements. Had he known his play, he never would've gotten a step on him in the first place. Hence bad read.
