That would certainly help the dline. He has a chip on his shoulder and ready to prove folks wrong. With that said, there are a lot of teams interested in McCoy, so the likelihood he would come to Cincinnati, slim to none.

I have no idea how much we gave Hart in bonus that will count against our cap this year, but I am thinking cutting his ass would free up $7 million right away for McCoy. Add $3 million more and you may own a fancy new McCoy.

However, we need to resign Green and Boyd too, so not sure how a move like this would impact those signings.

Dunlap
Atkins
McCoy
Hubbard/Willis/Lawson

I think someone is going to overpay for McCoy and I don't think the Bengals overpay for anyone.... This is his last payday so I think he'll cash out.

Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see what sort of damage he and Atkins could do together, but I don't see it happening.

yea, the chances of us making another big contract isn't great.

I don't understand how we can manage to keep AJ Green either.

he'll want a lot of money to stay here and then he'll get injured again. that ain't good for either party. I believe if he went to a team that already had a good offense, he could possibly play a little more conservatively and stay healthy enough for the playoffs. He's not getting any younger and he's going to want to move on.

ie: Bobby Hart $21 million / 3 years

Paying Hart and the rest of the trash they have on the offensive line is much cheaper than it would have been to pay Whit and Zeitler. So, they're actually saving money. It's the Bengals way.

Rumor has it that the bidding is already up to 11 millions per year.

There is no way the Bengals can fit that into their budget and still have enough money for roster bonuses. Hobs will explain it.

Alex Redmond, G Suspended 4 games for violating the league's PED policy, forfeiting $151,764 in 2019 salary with Cincinnati (CIN)

...

Thank goodness. He s not going to the Browns or Ravens. Heading to Carolina. Was hating to think about him in the AFC North if it wasn't as a Bengal.

I'm shocked he's not a Bengal. I think we were all pretty optimistic that we would sign an impact player like McCoy.
