I kinda hate that. Gallo and Bogie are bad deals. They aren’t worth that money.
I mean yeah but a shitty deal. You do that if the difference between Harris and Collins is vast. It really isn't.I was simply pointing out that a 2 team deal could be done.
If we are talking about Simmons, I think that is part of it but I also don't think Simmons makes sense after the Mobley pick. He can essentially be Simmons but much better offensively. There is no spot for Simmons bc Markkanen can spread the floor and still play solid defense at 7'0". Before the Mobley pick it made a little more sense but Cleveland needs shooting.

Gallo is nothing special and 33. Boggy is a decent role player. I think ATL gets the best two players in the deal if I'm being honest. If I'm ATL I do that in a heartbeat

Yeah that contract definitely gets in the wayLevert vs Powell
Even if he is this is not a good deal for PHI, wouldn't mind seeing it happen though lol.Collins is much better than Harris
Unless the Sixers trade Simmons this week to a different team. IMO, I think both teams are in a staring contest right now waiting to see who blinks.
Nah, not really. Collins is the better rebounder and defender and younger. Harris is a much more polished offensive player. The difference between the two isn't that big. Additionally, it's not like Harris has to be moved. With or without that contract the Sixers are maxed out for the salary cap. Harris fits well as a third option, just not a second option. It’s bigger than you think
And that’s before getting into contracts
GFYRandle for Simmons straight up. 2 head cases that need a change of venue
Well the nets leverage is they have the better player and for the sixers to be a threat they would need to move at least 2 firsts (to dump Harris) and decline Danny greens option, plus trade Simmons for just picks to have a chance to sign harden outright.
So why not just send them to the nets now and get it over with
They must be on here looking at my posts lol
Hasn't this been your stance all along though, saying the Sixers don't have to make any Simmons deals this season? Or is that what you mean by contingency plan, they don't trade Simmons but they improve the team some other way? Do they even have a way to do that?![]()
Sources: Nets rebuffed 76ers' interest in Harden
In the one single exchange between 76ers president Daryl Morey and Nets GM Sean Marks four weeks ago, the Sixers asked about James Harden and were flatly rebuffed, sources told ESPN.www.espn.com
If the Sixers aren't able to move Simmons I really hope they have a contingency plan in place to help bolster the team.
