You guys literally dont want to give up anything good for an overrated ben simmons. You are silly if you think throwing green in will get you harden or beal. Better off working with the kings and getting 3 quality players for him. Not getting a top 25 player for him and crumbs aka danny green
Beal wants out.
It's a sign and trade
So bring something better to consider.

You can try but then why does Beal want to do a sign and trade when they'd be giving up some of the core of his destination?

What would a Beal-Simmons trade look like...

Meh, I have no problem letting Ben Simmons rot for the rest of his career if needed. If he never plays in the NBA again, I would be OK.

Keep fining him, and holding out for a strong value in return. He shouldn't have signed the contract if he wasn't willing to play.

He’s going to get some of that money back.

The cba says mental health cannot be fined

Not a bad deal either but philly fans all of sudden turning seth into steph. Shit is hilarious

FTR, it's possible that the Sixers are offering Curry and the Nets want Green.

Curry is a good shooter but in the playoffs its unclear how effective he can be. He's defensively bad. And slow. Green is a known entity in the playoffs. In fact, it could be reasonably argued that Green's injury was why the Hawks bounced the Sixers last year.

None of us know what either team is thinking right now. It's possible that Sean Marks would only consider a deal that included Maxey and Thybulle and the Sixers may think that only a straight up deal with Simmons and 2.5 million in salary filler is acceptable.

I would be fine with Philly just fining him for the rest of his contract, just to make a point. But we know that isn’t happening.

Both are losing in that situation

Maybe, but if you are right then Shaq's point is right: Ben Simmons is ruining big guaranteed NBA contracts for everyone else. The new CBA is going to be a dogfight now, because if a player basically says, "my mental illness is team X, I will be fine mentally as long as I get a change of scenery," what is to stop any player from faking mental illness to force a trade?
