You really need to drop this. If his explanation, of what he was saying isn't good enough, fine. Move the fuck on.

I thought he meant Love wasn't capable of more than 15 minutes as well. Then he explained that he meant for the Sixers. I don't know as that I agree that he wouldn't be more useful on the Sixers than he thinks...but he's right that there are other teams that could use him more and where he would play more.

He made a statement, he was asked about it, he clarified (for those of us that needed it) and that should be good enough.

No reason to drag it on for a week.

Love reached out and stated he felt like he owed it to the team. Why? Because of the bubble last year many stars had opted out this Olympics. Good character offers his service. What was his role according to the article? He’s the 12th guy, a guy that won’t play meaningful minutes on a team short on Big Man bodies. Telling. Colangelo tells the story of him being out of shape and unable to run. He wasn’t even able to play a role as an emergency guy and a practice body to run the scout team 5. So did Love withdrawal? You betcha. Is that the major take away from that article as it pertains to our ongoing conversation on Love? Nope. What’s evident is that Love gave it shot, couldn’t perform in a very marginal limited role and he left. He took a graceful exit and claimed injury. If you’ve followed his last few years (and you have) Kevin Love being injured isn’t a hard sell. But the major take away here is that he couldn’t play that role.

And a postscript…you took this down the path of minutiae because whether you admit it or not you know that Love couldn’t compete in that environment.
