The Process is just tanking rebranded, and to blatantly call that your strategy is going to get the commissioner's office coming down on your team, like it or not. Just like when the Wolves had a handshake deal with Joe Smith; that shit happens all the time, but you can't let it be public knowledge.

It's similar to what happens during FA. Teams aren't supposed to have contact with players before midnight on the day FA starts, yet multiple deals are in place by 12:05am.

When the Lakers signed Lebron, does anyone really believe that Magic was sitting in his car in Lebrons driveway at 11:30 waiting for it to be midnight? When PG went to the Thunder, Russell Westbrook was having a party with live music and PG was the guest of honor.
