Lmao that’s exactly what he is. Why was he picked last with laughter for the all star game? It's amusing watching all the posturing from other fans trying to portray Harden as some chump diva.

I get that. Shhhhh…. I used to fucking hate the guy and it took me a few weeks to prepare to root for him haha. I still feel a little dirty. But he’s ours now so I’m gonna just ride with the Villain thing. It’s really Fucking fun. It's amusing watching all the posturing from other fans trying to portray Harden as some chump diva.
Mitch got sympathy. Joe Carter hit a good pitch.Mitch Williams?
I agree with ya on the process. But understand you’re grading the work of Colangelo and Brett Brown and to a certain extent Elton Brand. They screwed this up through Simmons. Other mistakes but that’s essentially THE mistake. They should have dealt him after the Toronto exit when he pouted and kept Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris. But that has nothing to do with the decision making that went into yesterday. That decision was made after Colangelo got shit canned because of his burner accounts and Brett Brown was the defacto GM as Elton Brand was just getting his feet wet. Brown and Simmons family had a relationship prior to Ben coming here and Brown got played and we all suffered. The NBA hated the Process. They stepped in and cut Hinkie’s nuts off. Many squads are running their own Process these days including your Cavs. Is the NBA threatening to step in and meddle in anybody else’s franchise? Sorry. You struck a nerve when you called out the Process. There were tons of mistakes and some were Hinkie’s as well. But it bothers me to this day that their meddling set that franchise on a tumultuous path and it’s all because the architect was a little too cavalier and aggressive in the way he did what everybody knows is a legit pathway to rebuild and teams are still doing to this day.

Harris is averaging 19ppg on the season and has scored at least 20 in 6 of the last 10 games.....he's going to get even better shots now with Harden and Embiid having to be accounted for.And they need good answers on the role players. Thybulle to shoot better. Isaiah Joe to give them something. Danny Green to find his shot again. And Tobias Harris to find a way to still get 20 on 12-25 shots.
Chump? No. Diva? Inarguably. It's amusing watching all the posturing from other fans trying to portray Harden as some chump diva.
Simmons had to be gone. There was no way he could come back.2020 Harden was when people thought he was still the MVP James Harden. Harden right now is a version who scores far less efficiently than ever before, has forced the trade of players he did not like, and demanded a trade off of a team in 2 consecutive years. Harden value has never been lower than right now, and 76ers had to toss in a lot of sweeteners for it to happen. They gave up Simmons, picks, and key role players to take back less value than Morey was demanding from other teams at the start.
Career 37% shooter and last season he made 39% with a career high of 43% in 2018.I hope he gets more comfortable pulling the trigger on the 3 ball with Curry being gone.
I agree he had to go, and fully admit sixers got far more than I expected. I just think the sixers fans also got far less than they expected, and are trying to convince themselves Harden is not just as damaged of an asset.Simmons had to be gone. There was no way he could come back.
Curry is a nice player but shooters are replaceable, especially when he's just a good one (40% is the lowest he's shot in a while).....let's not act like he's elite Steph Curry or Klay in their primes, Drummond is a backup C, and 2 late 1st rounders. Those 1st's weren't going to be top 14-15 or anything.

Harden has never had a C like Embiid.....Harden and Embiid both have to be guarded......then you have Harris.I agree he had to go, and fully admit sixers got far more than I expected. I think Aldridge was their best big, not Griffin.lol
The Nets needed defense...Simmons is an elite level defender.
The Nets best big was Blake Griffin...Drummond is an upgrade.
The Nets needed shooting...Curry is a career 43.7% percent from 3 and will have KD and Kyrie to help him get open looks.
On paper, the Nets got significantly better.
I think it's actually the opposite. He isn't a top 10 player or at least has not displayed that. Philly knew the issues that came with Harden and so did Brooklyn trading for him. He isn't the player he once was but still a star, not a superstar like he once was. He absolutely is a diva, if you don't see that you are lying to yourself. It's amusing watching all the posturing from other fans trying to portray Harden as some chump diva.
Curry's 3% is the lowest in many years, other than 18% in 3 games a few years back......

When they force their way out and their value is dramatically lowered. Look at Kyrie on CLE. So yeah Simmons value is still not very high but Harden's isn't either. If BKN tried to trade him anywhere else they get less but bc of the issues with Philly-Simmons they got pretty good overall value, most would agree. His overall play and his contract situation were also factors on his diminished value.
Interesting article....There was nowhere else to trade Harden because he made it clear he would only go to 3 other teams and really just one team.
Neither Simmons or Harden would have been traded if they didn't force their way out. Of course that lowered their value. But their value is meaningless if they aren't going to get traded. What is Doncic's trade value? What is Jokic's value? Might as well be infinite because they are never getting traded.
Superstar level players only get traded because something goes wrong which necessarily means their value is diminished.
