I agree, this suggests that there were offers from teams Simmons wanted to play for, and Philly balked. I do think their asking price is inflated, but this doesn't help. If I am Philly I basically do nothing now. Play the season without him if needed. Never give in to this kind of request.

I mean, this is not exactly the same as negotiating with terrorists and if it helps Philly why not move him?

That said I wouldn't move him just to move him.

It's interesting that Simmons' agent doesn't think he can improve his value by playing, by the way.

I know Tlance is exactly right but my emotions are running hot right now.

I know they have to trade him, but for perhaps different reasons than some of you. I think they have to trade him because I think he is a fraud, and even though his value is dropping, I think they have to salvage what they can.

But I would be fine fining him and waiting to do that, if it means getting a better offer. You are never going to get a good offer now!

That was his point. Harden becomes the full time PG and Simmons can be pretty devastating attacking the paint with all of the shooters the Nets have. Wright said he wants the Lakers to win the title and that trade would upset him. lol

Kyrie's game should fit well with Embiid and the Sixers too. I wonder what Kyrie's reaction would be?

I think Minny or Sac are the best options for Philly and Simmons, give him a gut check and for Philly they could get a PG in return and they would still be contenders.
Fox or Haliburton from Sac or DLo from Minny.
