I could live with a Halliburton/Heild package with some picks but I'm not sure Simmons would work with Fox. I think it would require a 3rd team to get involved like maybe the Warriors.
It could work....Fox could play SG and he'd still get assists because he's a good passer and not selfish.

Him and Simmons would find each other for easy buckets. As well as the other players on the Kings.

It's just as easy to say he's from Akron, which is the correct thing to say. To say he's a Clevelander is wrong. He didn't grow up there and he didn't go to high school in that city.
Correct.

30 miles isn't just a suburb of Cleveland. 5-10 miles, yes.....but not 30 fucking miles.

That’s Drummond though. He’s not a fit. It’s like justifying fucking grandma by saying well it’s pussy.
Love would be a very good fit on the 76ers.

He ain't playing 82 games or 30mpg but he can still 60 games and 20-25mpg. Like somebody else said, he can play some backup C and PF while giving you an outside shooter (something Simmons isn't) and may 20-23mpg. You don't need a starter back at guard because you have some nice young players who need the PT.

Plus, you'll get 2-3 draft picks and most likely another AND younger player in the deal to sweeten it.

You could do worse than Love. Assuming he can stay healthy and remembers how to shoot, he could help stretch the floor. His playoff experience could be helpful too.
Yep. He'd be a very good fit there on a contender.

That's the problem with a lot of these kids in the NBA nowadays.
Honestly. Doesn’t bother me. They have a short window.

But just be honest about it

The problem is you sink your own season doing that. Might as well trade embiid if you’re doing that

Let's test this hypothesis. I think the team may not be the #1 seed without Simmons, but they were the #1 seed and shit the bed in the playoffs. Develop Maxey at PG and see if the team can take a step forward.

The Sixers need to work out a trade sooner than later.....they don't want to go into the season with this drama hanging over the team's heads.

Yeah, Maxey is a player and so is Thybulle....they have youngsters who may not be Simmons caliber but certainly aren't that much "worse."

This is going to get ugly unless they lower their expectations in what they get in return.
It's already uglier than Roseanne Barr

I have no doubt the tanking kept him off the court more than it would have if we needed him to win games.

and, sure, for the right team agree he could play 25-30 minutes.

Yeah, it's funny. Folks act like the can't play anymore.

He only played in 25 games last year because the Cavs were tanking....but in those games, he played 25 minutes per game, shot 36.5% from 3 and 7.4 rebounds per game. The season before...he played in 56 games, averaged 32 minutes per game, shot 37.5% from 3 and 9.8 rebounds per game.

His defense is obviously a negative, but his offense and rebounding have value. A good coach can figure out ways to hide him some on defense so it doesn't get too bad with him

Shit, I was hoping and praying that Cavs would just buy him out because I wanted the Lakers to sign him.

Doesn't matter how far away. Folks are really only interested in the bigger city or the city with the professional sports team. The Angels, for example, play in Anaheim, which is not only more than 30 miles from LA, it's in a different county...yet they are called the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim because no one gives a shit about Anaheim. It's also why the Rams played in Anaheim for many years, but remained the Los Angeles Rams.

I mean, before they moved back to the city the cavs played closer to Akron than Cleveland....but still called Cleveland.

It's still a possibility and have a feeling both LA teams will be vying for his services.

Think Philly would be interested in a deal for Marcus Smart and Robert Williams? Rumors up here in NE are that the C's think Simmons and his defense is the final piece of a playoff run puzzle.
I don’t want to make Boston better. Neither should the Sixers. I don’t think Williams fits. Sixers need guard help on top of Smart. They have their version of Smart in Danny Green.
