It really doesn’t make sense. The Cubs were a perfect (basically only) trade partner for the Mariners. Hell Parades would’ve actually been good for the Mariners to plug 3B.

Who else has parts that they don’t want and isn’t a salary dump?

Sitting on their collective asses. This was a giveaway. I knew they just wanted to dump him and we could have gotten him for a flippen RP. He isn't the best, but he is way better than what we have gotten so far which is zip! And will be zip when season starts.

They have profited $80M+ each of the last 3 years. That is $240M+. Fuck you!

I have seen every episode 100 times. I worked with an ex-principal back in AZ and he and I would quote the show every day. Everybody else just thought we were nuts. :)
Right there with ya on 100 times. We still quote lines at work almost everyday. It never gets old.

I was crushed when a couple years back they said they weren't that good of friends off the set. Definitely a classic.

Jerry was/is very close with Elaine and Kramer, for sure. He had them both on his “Comedians in Cars” series and it was obvious that they all love each other. Jerry was very outspoken in defending Kramer after his terrible standup moment that got him canceled.

George, on the other hand, was curiously/notably absent from all of that.

I saw that but, in an article, last year or so back they said they never went to dinners after shows or got together for birthdays. It wasn't until later they did these appearances. I always pictured them hanging out after rehearsals and shows shooting the breeze. They said they didn't. They all just left with no real words.

That I never knew. I figured they were at least friends.
