Bell or Pierce

Who would you start? Both going up against good defensive teams

L Bell or J Bell? If it's L Bell it's not even a question L Bell. If it's J Bell I would still go with him over B Pierce.

IF any PPR league then I would go either bell over pierce... If it is no PPR then I would go pierce over Joique but not over leveon...

L Bell yup. I don't bench elite options against any defense.

It's close. And I don't consider LeVeon "elite", and the Panthers' run defense is very real... but Bell's involvement in the passing game still gives him the nod. Cleveland's defense has been pretty decent, so it's not like your passing on a juicy matchup for Pierce.

And I like Pierce more than most.

I sure don't consider Bell an "elite" option by any stretch of the term, but he's easily a better option than Pierce who is fighting at least two other backs on his team for touches, regardless of game situation.

You have to go with Bell, he's a clear cut RB1. Pierce, on the other hand, would only be a RB2 if you had injuries to one of your top backs.

Can't see how he's not elite. In his rookie season he ranked top 15. He probably would have been top 10 if not for that horrific goal line scare. He finished with 27.6 less points than everyone's 2014 draft darling Lacy. Then this season he's the #1 fantasy RB. I know it's only two weeks. But I don't understand the general dislike for the guy throughout the fantasy community. The kid is a stud imo.

Elite is top 3-5.. and through two weeks Sproles is the top scoring RB in fantasy (standard), Bell is fifth. . Behind Ingram. . Which lends credence to why Bells status after 2 weeks doesn't really hold water. . If Bell is elite, so too are Ingram and Sproles

I guess in more of an effort to maintain some meaning to the word "elite", I reserve it for only guys like Charles, Shady, and Peterson.. who on any week, against any opponent can put up 25+. When Bell does that more than a couple times, I might change my mind

Was going off PPR. Haven't played standard in years. But he has last year to back it up. All 3 rookies from last years class look like studs in the making. Remember no one knowing which one to take. Some people even taking Austin #1 overall in rookie drafts last year lol.

I would go Bell. Got some big red flags from Pierce when he kept getting stuffed at the goal line.
