This is serious shit here fellas.. Drank Budweiser most of my life. I know for a fact it's watered down compared to the old school German beer it was made to be years ago. InBev has watered it down I know for a fact.

Anyone know of a good brew that's comparable to old school Budweiser? I know the grain is rice.. Water, Barley Malt, Rice, Yeast, Hops.

Fuck InBev. Bastards don't even make old school Michelob anywhere and stick to Michelob ultra for the gays

Coors...trust me.

Smoother than Bud, too.

Coors or Guinness...that's it for me now.

I like original Coors and Guinness. Used to drink the hell out of Guinness and loved car bombs back in the day.

I hadn't had a Coors in many, many years and about 3 yrs ago a neighbor gave me one. Holy fuck was it nasty. I could not down a sip. I carried it around for about 20 minutes before I dumped it out and said I had to get back home.

We took an s-10 blazer to colorado in '88 full of coors. Drank tons of it. Cant stand to get a sip in my mouth anymore.

That’s what I finally figured out. Done with the big company beers.

Just got these today. Both brewed in TX

Revolver looks interesting. Not so much the other. I am not a pale ale guy. Much more of a pilsner.
My favorite pilsner is

beer_717

But every other one seems to be skunked so I don't buy them and havent in a long time.

Today I drink mostly Heineken mixed in with seasonal stuff.

But when I go out for a beer I always get a beer that has some hop power and damn I goes down good

A couple of months ago I was away on business and while at a restaurant, most of us ordered different beers. Since most restaurants don’t keep Keystone I ordered a Miller Lite. The server brought me the wrong beer.

I was really surprised when I took a drink. My first thought was “this tastes way too good to be my beer.” The guy next to me complained and told the server that he had the wrong beer and it tasted like shit.

I’ve been drinking them at home ever since

Would be nice to be offered a beer that actually tastes like beer instead of some pumpkin or something for a change.

Find a local micro brewery that specializes in German lagers

Most local breweries don't do much German beer because the ingredients must be imported. The beer needs very controlled temperature, mostly refrigeration, and most craft breweries aren't set up for that.

Learn to appreciate local IPAs. They will be here long after the sours and fruity beers have run their course and the Millennials go back to their PBR.
