ND expects too much, the B1G won't beg, they'll wait until ND gets desperate or gets another conference to give in to their excessive demands and then work with another school that's less demanding.

And Kansas? Never! A school needs to contribute to the Conference's massive Research consortium, and the B1G doesn't need BB help and that's about the only think KU would supposedly add.

What certification would that be? Their research intake is tiny, their media footprint is tiny, and what sports other than MBB are they good at? CBB is a revenue sport but doesn't even come close to adding what football does. So if you are going to snag a one sport school, that one sport needs to be football, unless it's research intake is large. The fact you don't understand this shows that it's you who are dumb.

And yet brings in a third of what UAB brings in for research dollars and even less compared to schools like USF and GT.

And KU's bb resume, possibly like Nebraska's football resume, is waning recently(just 1 trip to the FF in the last 9 years. This year doesn't look to change that trend), and moving to the B1G could revive the program, or it could do what it did to Nebraska?

Kansas population, not even 3 million. 2.9 mil
Alabama population over 5 million. And I'm betting Alabama's population is growing faster than Kansas' is, if Kansas' population is even growing?
Georgia population over 10 million.
Florida population over 20 million.

USF and Georgia Tech and even UAB have much better fb and bb recruiting advantages compared to adding Kansas.


This is such a no brainer that Kansas would be one of the dumbest adds the B1G could make.

Maybe you didn't see it, but Kansas bb went up against 2-3 Dayton and LOST. The CBS Sports 25+1 rankings doesn't even have KU in the Top 16 now. They've only gotten to the FF once in the last 9 years and their coach is getting old.


Kansas hasn't even added 100,000 people to it's population over the last Census period, 2010 to 2020, while Florida added the equivalent to Kansas to it's population. Alabama added approximately 250,000 and Georgia added over a million. Adding Kansas to the B1G would be DUMB.
