Bears sign Trent Edwards

Not that I like Edwards a lot, but I'm glad they've brought someone in to compete with McCown. He hasn't looked too good.

They brought 2 guys in because, they don't want to play Jay & Josh in game 4 of the preseason.
That said I like Trent's passing accuracy +60%. But he has thrown more INTs than TDs.
Palmer's #s aren't impressive either.
I think both are camp arms, hoping to get some good tape . To show they belong in the NFL.
Don't Know how long Matt will be out. But I expect him to be #3 when he returns. Trent will probably be #3 untill then.
Right now Palmer has a leg up on Trent. Simply because he was signed earlier. I expect that to change w/ playing time.
I really don't expect either to stick when Matt is healthy .
