Still no love, not an ounce. Shame. Rather lose pretty than win ugly. Smith was not great, but the team was winning, he was taking care of the ball, controlling the clock, and in 1st place. Keenum lost in three weeks what Smith lost all last season. Everyone is tired of losing but when we were winning everyone was still bitching and moaning. Unbelievable. Not even a little bit of credit for being a leader and a calming voice in the huddle according to many on the roster. It is what it is I guess.

CK took care of the ball very well in the first two games. He threw better, and everything on his side of the ball was better.

Yes...calm in the huddle is the problem...WTF. We are giving up over 30 PPG. AS would be getting us 12 PPG.

Alex smith was a game manager. The redskins won despite of him, not because of him.

The epitome of average qb play.

Isnt everybody sick of an average team? Right now we are a shitty team.

I’m tired of “hoping for average.” So is everybody else, as evidenced by the end of the sellout streak, and the abundance of other fans at fed ex.

Fed Ex sucks balls as a stadium, especially when considering the awful product that has been placed on the shitty field for 20 years.

Enough!

Not at all...It is the expectation and the bar is set from a Gruden coached team. You just have to accept it until changes are made then, new expectations can be set for a new regime. Gruden is done...he knows it, hell, everyone knows it. Was mentioned more than 5x last night on National TV. I thought Louis Riddick really drove that point home and that's coming from former front office personnel.

Losing 17 out of their last 18 Monday night games, truly doesn't inspire confidence. While we probably all hoped for a different result last night, I suspect that to a person here, we all knew what was coming. The ONLY question was, how were they going to lose that game. To be honest, they did surprise me with all of the give-a-ways! Khalil Mack is a monster, to look at video during the week and come to the conclusion that he didn't command special attention is football malpractice.

ok skinsdad, I'll play. Keenum, name a win period. I'll wait.

I'll give you last game with 5 TOs, what defensive position was Smith going to play in weeks 1 and 2 to help the defense? Clearly he wouldn't have had the run game from last year.

Well, lets be honest. This team won those games inspite of Alex's play, which was way below average.

As someone pointed out earlier, the trade was a bad trade for a couple of reasons. One, we gave too much and, two, Alex's style was not a fit for Gruden's offense. Now Alex is eating up a significant potion of our cap space for the next 2 years. So its hard to give the guy any love for his time here.
