well his old body broke down as i predicted it would . he never led a comeback , never even got a lead change . he built his record vs pansies here in DC

Still no love, not an ounce. Shame. Rather lose pretty than win ugly. Smith was not great, but the team was winning, he was taking care of the ball, controlling the clock, and in 1st place. Keenum lost in three weeks what Smith lost all last season. Everyone is tired of losing but when we were winning everyone was still bitching and moaning. Unbelievable. Not even a little bit of credit for being a leader and a calming voice in the huddle according to many on the roster. It is what it is I guess.

Sorry but the trade was foolish and people on this board acted like he was the 2nd coming when in fact he was a bus driver. Now if they weren’t so damn extreme and called it like it should have then perhaps I would be more forgiving .. but wins vs stiffs don’t impress me . The Texans trampled him , Indy beat us down , saints killed us . The falcons beat us down we were 6-4 In his starts

I dont want Smith back but I can recognize the irony of Skins fans bellyaching over wins and continuing the same behavior when we have lost 9 of 10 without him.

Turnovers will kill a team that is devoid of talent. Keeping a bad defense off the field and playing the field position game had us in 1st place. Alex struggled, but the formula of ball co trol, ball security, and leadership was a big reason the Skins were 6-3 with him and 1-9 without him. Just a little bit of love for old Alex is all I'm looking for. After the display Case put on last night, I think he deserves it. If not, so be it. I won't lose any sleep over it. HTTR

Not to switch subjects, and if this was brought up already I apologize. Sheehan was talking about how Preston and HaHa are studs now and didnt do zip here. Alluded to Manusky maybe not using them right or coaching them right. Manusky could be causing for harm than just bad defense, he could be so bad that we are misevaluating our own players and letting talent walk based on his ineptitude as a coach.
