Because Jones wasn't playing the bears defense, wasn't playing on Monday night and had a full week to prepare as the starter. putting haskins in now would be recipe for long term damage

It would be unfair to put the kid in now against this good of a defense with the way Moses and Scherff are playing.

Why not look what Jones did for the Giants

Jones blockers are apparently better than ours. K Mack is running free and everyone knew what a threat he is coming into the game. How you don't prepare for this guy is beyond me! Perhaps they believe that because he and Kerrigan had similar numbers prior to the game that he wasn't a walking talking destructive force.
