Tolliver was the big shocker of the final roster cuts. I was just reading an article the other day that he might have had the edge, even if temporary, in landing the starting CB spot opposite Fuller. Wonder if there's anything more to all this.

Really good size for a CB and a good athlete. CB is a hard position that takes time for some players. He has the tools.

It sounds like, per Bears beat reporters, that the Bears simply fell really in love with Kindle Vildor and it made Toliver expendable.

It's odd that at the very least they didn't retain Toliver for the practice squad. Vic Fangio just scooped him up in Denver.
