Yes too many bullpen games can burn a pen. Wonder if they are anticipating some turnover in the pen anyways. At least we have guys who pitch multiple innings from the pen

Allards role is definitely confusing

There's lots of confusion going on at this time.
Semien leading off is not a good idea the way he is playing and Adoilis should be 2 or 3 in the order.

1. Semien needs a day off.
2. White should be leading off.
3. Culberson should not be playing, or he should be the DH and Andy should be at 3B.
4. Allard should be starting if they brought him up.

I do think some continuity for Semien is needed lineup wise. I would like a regular guy leading off even if it is a platoon. White makes perfect sense today. Nothing else in the lineup has been earned minus Heim on days he starts

I always prefer a consistent lineup. I don't follow other teams enough to know if constant order changes are the norm.

With all the platoons out, there is some variance
Consistency is good. I have definitely seen th3 2 and 9 spot rotate depending upon the pitcher. A good switch hitter bating second used to the the norm

We need better hitters. That is the ultimate fact right now

the silver lining is that the Rangers appear to be collecting a sizable number of good hitting second basemen
