5) Guardians 37
6) Rockies 38
7) Padres 39

Round B (after the second round)

3) A's 69
4) Rays 70

I know we traded Alex Claudio to the Brewers for a pick(#41) a few years ago.

2022 mock draft: Position players pack Top 10

None of the reasonings make any sense. They list Temarr Johnson as possibly going 2nd, rank him among the top 4 prospects... and then slot him at 7th.

Maybe they’re basing it off pure talent(for player ranking), team needs, teams bonus allotment and teams particular past draft strategy(for when they get picked)

Not sure why Temarr would fall that low
Apparently he has the best hit tool seen in quite some time

OAK takes 4 of 5 from DET to catch the Rangers in the standings.

Would be nice if they mentioned any of that. The way it reads to me, it sounds pretty slapdash and unresearched.

Honestly we could be looking at a combination of any of these guys for the most part

C - Heim/Huff/Garver
1B - Lowe/Huff/Crim
2B - Semien
3B - Smith/Jung/Wendzel
SS - Seager
LF - Harris/Duran
CF - Thompson/Tavares/Smith
RF - Garcia
DH - Garver and rotate

I didn't include Foscue bc I have no idea where to slot him other than 2B, he's a bit more positionally inflexible to me than others, but we shall see in the next year, not to mention Carter, Acuna, Acosta, Zavala, or Hauver... and I'm sure I'm forgetting some guys
i get where you're coming from but 3B and OF seems to be a blackhole where we have no talent right now (except maybe Garcia) so clear the deadweight of Kole, Reks, Solak, White and Miller and bring up Thompson, Taveras, Hauver, Harris and Smith. at 3B, Wendzel & Harris and release Culberson. not sure when Jung will be ready so wait until next season.

That it does, no doubt

Supposedly most of these guys are not ready yet. I think Leody is based on the fact he is hitting now and has been up before so it seems we have something to measure his readyness.

i understand but isn't it time to see if they're ready? or do we wait until next season? or the one after that?

i would also bring Crim up. we've had a taste of their talent why not more?

the Rangers are 5-10 at home, despite several players having better numbers at home.

if anyone thought we had moved on from 2020 COVID season, the Guardians have lost most of the field staff to COVID protocols

I am too lazy to look back at the schedule, but could it be for difficulty of schedule at home?

Those guys really like shortstops and then centerfielders. Termarr is not either one of those so MLB will never having him going as high as he most likely will go.
