Stop sniveling; its unseemly. Accept the criticism you got and learn from it. Maybe you'll think before speaking next time.

Lolz.

Mont: The two teams in the World Series prove that if you’re willing to spend a lot of money, you win.

Slink: Giants spent more than the Red Sox and didn’t win fuckall.

Mont: yeah, but I’m a fucking half-wit.

Slink: well, alright.

Monty: "Are you sure this wasn't a conversation you had with your imaginary friend?"

Slinky: "Yeah, I guess it was but what can I do, no one else will talk to me"

Monty: Damn, I used to own a slinky when I was a kid; looks like I own one again".

Dude. You're a dumbfuck, and you're out way beyond your depth here.

You said the Dodgers and Red Sox being in the World Series proves that if a team is willing to spend money, they'll win.

I informed you that the Giants spent more money than the Red Sox this year and didn't even play .500.

You said some stupid shit about the last three years, as if what a team spent in 2016 has much bearing on the 2018 World Series.

The funniest bit is that in your effort to backpedal with the "not over the last three years" nonsense, you made yourself look even more like a half-wit.

Opening Day Payrolls 2016-2018
SFG - $525MM
BOS - $540MM

Boston outspent the Giants by a measly $15MM over those three years. To put that into perspective for you, that's one year of Mark Melancon's contract.

So, if a team will win by spending money, why is it that the Giants have spent roughly the same amount as the Red Sox over the last three seasons and have a record of 224-262, compared to the Red Sox's 294-192?

Answer:
You're a fucking dipshit.

And to follow up on that point, the Sox big spending probably hurt them more than helped them. Rusney Castillo and Panda Bear and Hanley Ramirez are still collecting checks. The GM that brought them over is not, however.

The Martinez signing was damned good, though.

Pretty close to what I said and I was correct; all your other meaningless drivel aside. You got embarrassed; we get it. Stop digging the hole deeper for yourself.

How 'bout the Red Sox actually lose a WS for a change? 3 in a row now after all those decades of frustration.

I'm thinking (hoping?) we're long overdue for a return to the norm.

I had the same thought.

I'd be all in on rooting for the Dodgers, but that fuck Manny Machado makes it hard to root for them.

I'll happily overlook his innate douchiness if he goes 8 for 20 with 3 HR and 10 RBI in a rousing Dodger sweep.

I'm selective in my hatred like that. :)

You make a damn fine point.

Perhaps I could forget my hatred for a week or so if he can help vanquish Yankees Lite.

I'd like to see Kershaw get a ring, too.

There you have it. I'm rooting for the Dodgers, that Machado Mexican be damned.

Thanks for your help, nasty.

I'm picking LA in 7.

Given the Red Sox more than likely won't have any trouble scoring, and even though their bullpen has been skating on some pretty thin ice of late, but I just think they're about to get bombarded by the Dodgers...plus LA will get a slight advantage by adding another bat (DH) into their lineup in the games that are in Boston.

Either way...I'm hoping for an epic WS...and I really think we're gonna get one.

It's the annual fall classic, dude.

C'mon Man.

Don't be "that" guy.

Do you not watch the SB even when the Pack isn't in it??...or the Rose bowl if the Badgers didn't qualify?
