...I'll be targeting Luck as my QB for whatever leagues I'm in next season. The guy proved he has the cojones to be a winner.

As long as he keeps his INT's down like he did this year, not a bad move at all.

In all honesty, that game could be the absolute worst thing that could have possibly happened for Luck's fantasy value.

2 reasons:

1) Drafters always remember playoff breakouts, so he will be selected too soon in next year's drafts. Collin Kaepernick anyone?

2) A playoff win could allow Pep Hamilton to keep his job. Hamilton is the guy who ran the ball more than 50% of the time when he coached Luck at Stanford. Yeah, that's right, he had the best player in college football and he handed off more than he threw. Hamilton is an old school coach who appears overmatched at the NFL level and he is too stubborn to use his roster in the most effective way.

Pep must be learning something - Luck either threw (or ran it himself) on 63.9% of Colts plays in the regular season - higher percentage than Stafford, Peyton, Brady and just about everybody else (Brees, Ryan and Tannehill finished ahead of him). The Colts just don't run a lot of plays.

But, yeah, he may go too soon.

That is a good point about being drafted too soon...I drafted Russell Wilson too soon in our league mainly because he impressed me so much down the stretch the year before. Until I traded him, he really hurt me more than helped this season.

But don't worry about Mr. Hamilton. I'll give him one of my patented "Pep" talks...guaranteed to change his "Luck"! :laugh3:

Those quotation marks weren't very subtle, were they?

Maybe if he weren't so "rich" he would be more "lucky".

Nicely done!

Speaking of Mr. Richardson, what do you guys think happens with him next season?

My guess is that he drops like a bad penny in the draft. To the point where someone thinks to himself, "wow, I can't believe my choices are Fred Jackson, Danny Woodhead, or TRich. Ok, I'll take a chance on him."

And then he actually has a better season than in 2013. Not stellar. But not the cellar either.
