Now, in all seriousness, if people are actually serious about discussing what the OP wanted to talk about, I am more than happy to participate.

Trying to man. Tough to debate a topic when people have already made their mind up. Id be surprised if the Chiefs made the Super Bowl BUT if they get the home field then they certainly have a shot. The reality is they have by far the best defense in the AFC, they have a solid running game, a QB who knows how to win and they dominate turnover margin. That right there is enough to make them dangerous versus ANYONE.

Thats actually not as true as it seems. KC has the second biggest win margin in the NFL behind Denver. Now the Chiefs have won a few close games ( more than Denver ) but they have also won by double digits in 5 of their 9 wins and won by 9 in another game. While its true they arent winning by 20-30 like Denver they are beating teams by a wide margin more often than not. It just doesnt feel like it because 24-7 isnt as awe inspiring as 45-24 or whatever. LOL

Not all double digit wins are created equal. Look at how the games broke down. The Eagles game was a 1 score game late in the 4th quarter until the Chiefs put together a drive to ice it. In the Titans game, the Chiefs were actually behind with the 4th quarter of half over before the took the lead for good. The Browns had the ball with a chance to win it with a touchdown drive. The Bills game was tied going into the 4th quarter and the Chiefs didn't take a double digit lead until there were only a few minutes left. A play here or there and any of those games could have gone the other way.

Now, just so no one can accuse me of hating on the Chiefs, in no way do I point that out as a way to disparage the Chiefs. The Chiefs have done what good teams do; they've made plays to win. They can't control who they play, or how injured they are when they play the Chiefs. The only thing they can control is whether they win or lose, and so far to their credit they've won them all. I just wanted to point all of that out as a reason why people believe in the Broncos more than they do the Chiefs.

I think he meant in reference to downplaying KCs schedule. And on that front hes right but there are plenty of other discussions on the Broncos boards about how bad the Chiefs schedule has been. To be fair some of the guys mention that Denvers hasnt been much tougher but its sort of glossed over by most of the Broncos fans. Not a big deal. The Chiefs schedule has sucked but you can only win the games you are scheduled to play and its false logic to assume they wont be able to play good D and efficient O against good team just becuase they havent played one yet.

It is not glossed over by Bronco fans. We understand the toughest part of our schedule is coming up and the next four games will go a long way in determining where we stand as a team. When speaking about the Chiefs schedule most Bronco fans realize it goes deeper than just the fact that they have played quite a few bad teams but includes so much more like the fact that they have played 5 straight weeks with having to go up against a back up or third string quarterback. When it comes to the Chiefs defense at least for me I am playing a wait and see approach as they also are getting ready for the meat of their schedule. If the defense can continue to show dominance then yes they are deserving of all the respect and honor that comes with that. We shall see soon enough on all of this.

Sure man and I understand that but the biggest 2 reasons people believe in Denver more are A) Denver was good last year so its easier to buy them being good this year and B) MOST ( not all but most) football fans are more impressed by offensive displays of prowess than they are defensive. Easy to buy a team winning 41-21 than it is a team winning 23-3. Thats really the way its always been. Oh and Denver has Peyton Manning... LOL

As a niner fan, I may not be one to talk... but here is some food for thought in comparing Denver to KC.

This year...

Denver:
Player criminal arrests.... 11
PED busts.................... 1.5

KC

Player criminal arrests.... 0
PED busts.................... 0

I don't even know what the point in that post is, besides trying to stir up some shit. And as a Niner fan, you have bigger things to worry about with Aldon's upcoming court case(s). Are by chance you implying they are better because they've been arrested fewer times? What a joke

While some people may find that irrelevant I think it could be seen as an indicator of a teams discipline and discipline definitely plays a part in success.

Alos where the fuck are you getting those ridiculous numbers. 3 Broncos players have been arrested this year. Carter, Saulsberry, and Miller. But keep pulling random numbers out of your ass.

Dear god, stop the presses, someone failed to appear for court on a traffic violation. Obviously the Chiefs are better than these criminal scum.
